This is about valuing the ecological heritage of an area that is open to the public, with the capacity to receive and serve visitors, with camping areas and hiking routes. The area has facilities managed by the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) and a wide range of scientists conducting research on its species, as well as various access sectors.

La Campana National Park is located in the communes of Hijuelas and Olmué, where there are entrances to the heritage area. Limache, Villa Alemana, and Til Til have access points to the entire La Campana-Peñuelas Biosphere Reserve and the La Cuesta La Dormida area.

This natural wealth is presented from documentary and academic sources, from local testimonies from the mentioned communes, as well as from independent individuals: local academics, reserve neighbors, families belonging to the first inhabitants of the territory, and local professionals who have worked on projects associated with the reserve. The objective is for the community to participate in the generation of the content of the booklets cycle and the book.
